Web-based Ticket System

TicketBoss is a unique ticket sales system developed according to the latest standards in technology and internet services. The goal is to provide customers with a powerful yet simple tool to sell tickets online. TicketBoss is free as long as you do not charge your customers.

The mission

TicketBoss is an in-house product. Our mission was to develop a ticket sales system that sets us apart from our competitors. The key difference is that the system is built as a dedicated portal for each individual organizer. This allows companies to customize their own cash register, landing page, and layout according to their specific needs and graphic profiles. They can create an unlimited number of events and have ultimate control and statistics over sales, finances, tickets, events, personnel, and venues.

As part of the project, the system needed to support direct payments through Payson (internet bank, credit cards), Swish, and also include our own digital invoicing system for organizers selling tickets to companies. Once the invoice is paid, the system automatically generates and sends all tickets to end customers.

We were also tasked with developing a mobile application for both Android and iOS, which would serve as a ticket scanner for organizers. The application would be used by doorkeepers and staff to verify the validity of tickets by scanning a QR code and assist in seating arrangements.

Group 3

Develit's solution

One team member in our team had extensive knowledge and experience in event organizing. Taking this into consideration, he was assigned the role of "Product Owner" and began describing the concept.

After that, we proceeded with detailed planning and the development of technical specifications. The Product Owner worked closely with the Project Manager, significantly streamlining the process of developing the right specifications from the beginning and within a short period of time. The next step was to create mockups and design proposals.

Even at this stage, the Product Owner maintained constant communication with our designers, which greatly supported the rapid production of the final design. Once all parties were completely satisfied with the specifications, we began dividing the project into smaller subtasks.

The goal was to deliver a usable product as quickly as possible and launch a beta version to a group of test customers. Hence, the next step was to prioritize and plan all tasks on the timeline to achieve the goal.

The project was built on our in-house developed PHP engine, Cybertooth Engine. For the application, we used the Ionic framework. The delivery of all project components took 8 months.
